Extraction and Characterization of Sericin from Cocoon of Four Different Silkworm Races Bombyx Mori L.

چکیده

The removal and use of sericin could have a strong economic, social, environmental impact, particularly in countries where sericulture is practiced, especially Bangladesh. Because our country Bangladesh, waste material the industry. Several techniques been adopted for extraction, but maintaining its chemical properties after extraction environment-friendly methods are still major challenge. Sericin fully or partially hydrolyzed solubilized during degumming cocoon. Consequently, it important to create procedures that require less energy, don't release any chemicals, harm environment. Numerous research has done extract differences content Bivoltine Multivoltine silkworm cocoon not studied yet. In this work, was extracted from four different races at two temperatures durations. Significant were observed yield% with treatments. Extracted characterized through SDS PAGE, FTIR & UV spectroscopy, TGA.
